I had a wonderful time rotating through the Pediatrics department at UPCH. The attendings and residents were so kind and always set aside time to teach. I was grateful for the opportunity to learn about a different healthcare system and strengthen my medical Spanish. I now feel so much more confident speaking Spanish with patients back home in the clinic and hospital.

Estudiar en Cayetano me permitió descubrir mi verdadera vocación por la ciencia y la investigación. Ahora, en mi último ciclo de Ingeniería Ambiental, miro atrás y valoro experiencias únicas como mi pasantía en Canadá, que reafirmaron mi deseo de generar impacto positivo en el ambiente.

Gracias a la beca PIMA y mi intercambio internacional, adquirí una visión global e intercultural que transformó mi forma de entender la ciencia y el impacto social. Hoy pienso globalmente para actuar localmente, impulsando iniciativas sostenibles que beneficien a las comunidades de mi país.

All’UPCH mi sono sentita da subito ben accolta, è stata un’esperienza formativa e stimolante che mi ha permesso di imparare molto, confrontandomi con un contesto clinico e culturale nuovo.

My time at Cayetano was a very fun and unique experience! Seeing how Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is conducted in Peru taught me new hands-on therapies and modalities, while allowing me to greatly improve my Spanish fluency.
